Severn’s Regional F2 Teaching Programme was established in 2007, and encourages foundation trainees to experience training as part of the Foundation School. The regional teaching programme enables us to use the faculty members who are keen to deliver proven educational material as required by the Foundation Curriculum.
The Regional programme also offers an opportunity for trainees to network, which has always been recognised as an important part of professional development. The programme utilises days from the study leave allocation and places must be booked in advance.
The programme culminates with a Trainee Presentation Day offering foundation trainees at F1 and F2 level the opportunity to present their work and receive regional recognition. Download a copy of the Regional Teaching booklet F2 Regional Teaching Programme 2010 11 Booking is via the MLE (Managed Learning Environment) system. For more information, see F2 MLE Booking Instructions
It is crucial that you attend a minimum of 60 hours training. This is carefully scrutinised by PGME departments and the Severn Deanery and is a pre-requisite for being signed off. Therefore, please monitor your hours carefully as we won't be able to sign you off without this minimum attendance.
